Game Camp Information
Camps run from 10:00am – 3:00pm from Monday to Friday, and throughout that time you will have dedicated and experienced staff running the event. Each camp will be run in a similar manner, however we will follow a different story path for each one, so it is totally possible to participate in more than one without issue.
Participants: Our Game Camps are part of our Knights of Blackwood Youth Program and are eligible for participants between the ages of 8 and 18. Please check in and let us know of any special needs that we should be aware of when you register so that we can make appropriate accommodations.
Entry Fee: $350
Included: In addition to having a dedicated and talented member of the Black Knight Games staff running the camp, every camper will be given the following items to keep:
· A Miniature off the wall to represent their character that they get to pick
· A new Set of Dice that they get to pick
· A Monster miniature that they get to pick
· A T-Shirt to keep those camp memories alive all year-round
· The Dungeon’s & Dragon’s Starter Kit (a great starting point for any prospective D&D player). Alternatively, you can upgrade this to any standard in-stock Dungeons & Dragons 5e Book (we recommend the Player’s Handbook if you don’t have it already) for an additional $20.00.
Programming: Our Game Camps are run by staff members with plenty of experience hosting events for young gamers, and who have expertise in the games we will be hosting. Every day we will have a new lesson or experience to keep our campers evolving, like paint lessons, character design, and worldbuilding. Then we will play a session of Dungeons and Dragons, creating a story together spanning the whole week, and ultimately culminating in an exciting conclusion! Black Knight Games will supply all the maps, monsters, and other supplies needed for some awesome adventures and activities.
Participants Are Responsible For: Transportation to and from Black Knight Games, their own lunch (ideally bring a bagged lunch). Additionally, if they have a Player’s Handbook they should bring it as it’s very useful to have their own.
Campers must also register through the Summer Game Camp Registration Google Form if they wish to attend. Registering in the Google Form does not reserve you a spot, purchasing your ticket does.
Low-Income Subsidy: We are aware that for some this type of event might be out of their budget. If you are in a low-income situation we can add your name to a waiting list, and any remaining spots will be filled from this list at a reduced cost.
