Attention Black Knight patrons!
Are you looking to bring your gaming community to the forefront at Black Knight Games?
We're finally re-igniting our Standard Bearer Program, and we need positive, confident community leaders to help us support your favourite games! We previously had a Standard Bearer program, and now with so many great games being released and receiving big updates, we feel that it's time to bring it back.
What is a Standard Bearer?
A Standard Bearer is a community leader who is ready and willing to step forward into community leadership, take a little more ownership over events and tournament play, and help us to support the games they love!
What do I get out of it?
Successful Standard Bearers can snag some great perks. These are offered on a case-by-case basis, but can include things like store credit, discounts, priority access to new products, etc.
What games do you need Standard Bearers for?
We'll be starting the program back up by rolling it out with a few specific games. For the miniatures side: Warhammer 40K, Warhammer: The Old World, and Konflikt '47. On the TCG side: Magic: The Gathering & One Piece.
Alright, I'm interested. How do I apply?
If you're interested in becoming a Standard Bearer for any of these games, we encourage you to apply using this Google form. It's important to note that applying does not automatically make you a Standard Bearer, nor does having been one previously. If you're wanting to represent your community again, you'll need to apply and be approved!
What if the game I want to run events for isn't one that you listed?
If your game isn't listed, and you're interested in running events for the store, don't worry! You don't have to be a Standard Bearer to run events. You can always reach out and pitch your ideas to us - we aren't afraid to try new things and give new communities a chance to shine.
So go ahead, BKG patrons! Send us your application and get ready to raise your banner!

''Near Mint (NM)'
Near Mint condition cards show minimal or no wear from play or handling and will have an unmarked surface, crisp corners, and otherwise pristine edges outside of minimal handling. Near Mint condition cards appear 'fresh out of the pack,' with edges and surfaces virtually free from all flaws. '
'
''Lightly Played (LP)'
Lightly Played condition cards can have slight border or corner wear, or possibly minor scratches. No major defects are present, and there are less than 4 total flaws on the card. Lightly Played condition foils may have slight fading or indications of wear on the card face. '
'
''Moderately Played (MP)'
Moderately Played condition cards have moderate wear, or flaws apparent to the naked eye. Moderately Played condition cards can show moderate border wear, mild corner wear, water damage, scratches , creases or fading, light dirt buildup, or any combination of these defects. '
'
''Heavily Played (HP)'
Heavily Played condition cards exhibit signs of heavy wear. Heavily Played condition cards may include cards that have significant creasing, folding, severe water damage, heavy whitening, heavy border wear, and /or tearing. '
''
''Damaged (D)'
Damaged condition cards show obvious tears, bends, or creases that could make the card illegal for tournament play, even when sleeved. Damaged condition cards have massive border wear, possible writing or major inking (ex. white-bordered cards with black-markered front borders), massive corner wear, prevalent scratching, folds, creases or tears.
