You are a team of chefs working together to cook a delicious soup that matches some public culinary taste requirements. The catch is each chef has secret taste preferences that must also be met. And you are running against the clock!
A co-operative card game with hidden objectives, played in 3 x 5 minutes rounds. Take turns changing the soup ingredients to meet as many tastes as possible before the time runs out. Change the vegetable or colour on a card (but not both), or rotate a row or column of cards to change cards’ positions. These changes may upset or satisfy other chef’s secret taste sensibilities too! So, players vocalise their satisfaction or dissatisfaction and rotate their taste cards in hand to indicate how happy or unhappy they are after each change to the soup. But they cannot say exactly why. Watch other chefs reactions, and try to make changes that make everyone as happy as possible to earn stars that allow access to higher difficulty levels.
Simple rules, speedy play and frantic fun make Too Many Cooks perfect for families or party gamers; a frantic fun ice breaker on game nights or any gathering.
