D&D Knights of the Hearth (Remote D&D)

Attention Dungeons & Dragons players in isolation! We can’t take it anymore, we need to host some D&D! And we’ve finally sorted out how to do so using an online platform called Roll20! These sessions will be from the safety of your very own home, and will be hosted by BKG Staff (DM Cody for these first couple) who have prepared a premium gaming experience for you, as best as we can 😉

When: We are hosting two separate four-hour sessions, sign up for one or both!:

Wednesday, April 22, 6:00pm – 10:00pm
Members of a secret organization have sent you and your party a message of an upcoming disaster. Do you follow the clues and save the town, or delve deeper into the misty footing of this unseen organization? Take the plunge in Black Knight Games first ever online Premium D&D Session appropriately titled: Whispers from the Dark

Sunday, April 26, 6:00pm – 10:00pm
The Black Knight has gone into exile, now the townspeople tell you of a large invasion is on the horizon. Will you be able to find the Black Knight in time? Will they even want to help save the town that banished him? Find out by taking part in this edge of your seat adventure with Black Knight Games: The Exiled Night

Entry Fee: $15.00 per session – to register call in or FB message the store.

Player Cap: There is a player cap for these adventures, so be sure to sign up right away. But fear not if you miss out, the goal of these adventures is to test things out, so we absolutely intend to add additional adventures to our future offerings to meet demand!

Will these be linked to future adventures?: Sort of, these are one-shot sessions to allow us to test some thing out and gauge interest. But they will likely tie in with future story arcs. Our intention will be to create a series of adventures like the ones we did on Monday nights, in our Knights of the Red Dragon Inn series’ of four weekly adventures.

Format: We will be using the Roll20 online roleplay system, which manages D&D character sheets, allows the DM to share maps and such, handles dice rolling, and even handles communication using audio and video! This means you WILL need to sign up for Roll20 – but fear not, it’s free!

You will also need a computer with at least a mic, but ideally a camera on it to best communicate with the team. Having a D&D Player’s Handbook within arms reach is never a bad idea either.

DM Cody will have a specially built campaign ready to go complete with maps, and other components do allow you to delve deeply in to the worlds you will create together.

Prizes: Just like our in-store premium sessions you can expect the opportunity to be rewarded for excellent gameplay! DM Cody will assign the occasional prizes to players.

So help us give this new digital format a try! Join us for one or both of our first remote D&D sessions!
