International Tabletop Day!

Tabletop Day SM

Our friends at Geek & Sundry, the guys that brought us the fantastic gaming show Table Top, have announced plans to run a world-wide gaming celebration called International Tabletop Day!  And of course Black Knight Games will be a part of it.  International Tabletop Day is a single date, March 30th, where people worldwide are encouraged to play games.  You can set up private events at home, or public ones at clubs and stores.  So check out their website if you would like to register your own event – or better yet, come to BKG and get some gaming done!

International Tabletop day at Black Knight Games

March 30th, all day from 10:00am – 10:00pm!  You can drop in for a single game, or play all day, it’s up to you.

Entry Fee: Heck No!

Games: To do our part in celebrating gaming Black Knight Games will be running our event all day.  We aren’t going to be running a single event, or game, rather we encourage our attendees to play as many different games as possible!  You can play anything from Warhammer to Magic, Settlers of Catan to Dungeons & Dragons.  Bring your  armies/decks/boardgames from home, or use the ones we have here, anything you can play on a table-top is fair game.

Prizes: To encourage you to celebrate gaming with as many games as possible we will be providing our participants with two opportunities to win prizes.  First of all, for every different game you play we will give you a ballot for our Tabletop Day raffles.  There will be three raffle winners, each one will win a $20.00 Black Knight Games gift card!  In addition, the participant that plays the most different games out of anyone that day will win a $50.00 Black Knight Games gift card!  That’s right we are rewarding you for playing games 😉

Demonstrate Your Favs: International Tabletop Day will be the perfect opportunity to teach new players your favorite games because everyone will be looking for new games to try.  So bring a demo set of your miniature or collectible game, or show off that hidden gem of a board game that you wish you could play more!

So join Black Knight Games, Geek & Sundry and TableTop, and the rest of the world in celebrating gaming in the first ever International Tabletop Day!
